National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) requires both an audio and visual alarm for an extraction booth in the cannabis industry. This explosion proof horn is required to be interlocked to your E-stop and gas sensor to alert employees and users that an emergency condition exists inside of your cannabis extraction room. With our UL listed cannabis extraction control panel, a client can connect this C1D1 - Class 1 Division 1 (the unit can also be used in C1D2 -class 1 division 2) explosion proof horn for extraction booths and rooms with the butane or propane gas sensor in addition to the e-stop. Having an explosion proof horn for your extraction booth allows you to place a horn inside the extraction room when required. This alert horn for extraction booths has volume of S7–110dbA @ 10 feet and comes with an omni directional mounting bracket for easy placement inside your lab. Please note, we have seen local fire departments require one of these horns both inside and outside of your butane extraction room.
